Alongside her courses based in Hampshire, Jackie also organises annual, week long trips to Moldavia, Romania, during which you will complete an Icon Course and your icon will be blessed.

Situated in the historic Manor House of Valeni, these courses are 3 days long, and the trip also includes a visit to the painted monasteries of Bukovina, a World Heritage site.

Valeni is situated in the rolling countryside of Moldavia, Romania, from where you can see the Carpathian Mountains. Strip farming still exists as does some ploughing with horses.

You will also complete a Ukranian Egg Painting course, run by Jilly Wise. Jilly runs Ukrainian Egg Painting workshops in the UK and has been painting eggs for 30 years. Jilly will teach you how to paint an egg in the traditional way using hot wax and dyes.
